Don't Drink And Drive

A lot of people lost their lives to driving under the influence.
Its ashame to receive such grave news that one of your loved ones has lost their life due to an  DUI related incident.
Some parents still have teenage children, and worry because their daughter or son just got their drivers license and he/she wants to have a little fun with their friends.
Yes as a parent your child knows wright from wrong and should know not to drink and drive because as a parent thats what you embedded in he/shes brain to know how to be responsible and not to let influence affect judgement.
Friends will try to get another to drink an alcohol beverage or to do some type of drug just to have that person on the level they are on, and if this person refuses he/she gets made fun of .
So basically that's when the peer pressure comes in.
Some teenagers will be a follower more then a leader due to peer pressure and may suffer grave/legal consequences because once you listen to your friends and do something that is not wright pertaining to drugs/alcohol  he/she can kill their selves and passengers or kill a family  due to being under the influence.
Now its not just the teens It's adults as well going to the club or bar having more then a few drinks and getting fully intoxicated over the limit.
It's bad when your an adult and you know you are too impaired to drive but still hop behind the wheel endangering others on the road and your life.
Most of the DUI accidents are caused by a drunk driver or some one on a controlled substance "And Who Suffers"? .
The one who gets hit by that person who is driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance.

Now I have a poem that I did not write and the author is not known, but it has to do with my blog .
This is my resource: http://www.charityguide.org/volunteer/fifteen/death-of-an-innocent.htm

Many people have been touched by the following "Drunk Driving Poem." (The author is unknown.)
I went to a party, Mom,
I remembered what you said.
You told me not to drink, Mom,
So I drank soda instead.

I really felt proud inside, Mom,
The way you said I would.
I didn't drink and drive, Mom,
Even though the others said I should.
I know I did the right thing, Mom,
I know you are always right.
Now the party is finally ending, Mom,
As everyone is driving out of sight.
As I got into my car, Mom,
I knew I'd get home in one piece.
Because of the way you raised me,
So responsible and sweet.
I started to drive away, Mom,
But as I pulled out into the road,
The other car didn't see me, Mom,
And hit me like a load.
As I lay there on the pavement, Mom,
I hear the policeman say,
"The other guy is drunk," Mom,
And now I'm the one who will pay.
I'm lying here dying, Mom...
I wish you'd get here soon.
How could this happen to me, Mom?
My life just burst like a balloon.
There is blood all around me, Mom,
And most of it is mine.
I hear the medic say, Mom,
I'll die in a short time.
I just wanted to tell you, Mom,
I swear I didn't drink.
It was the others, Mom.
The others didn't think.
He was probably at the same party as I.
The only difference is, he drank
And I will die.
Why do people drink, Mom?
It can ruin your whole life.
I'm feeling sharp pains now.
Pains just like a knife.
The guy who hit me is walking, Mom,
And I don't think it's fair.
I'm lying here dying
And all he can do is stare.
Tell my brother not to cry, Mom.
Tell Daddy to be brave.
And when I go to heaven, Mom,
Put "Daddy's Girl" on my grave.
Someone should have told him, Mom,
Not to drink and drive.
If only they had told him, Mom,
I would still be alive.
My breath is getting shorter, Mom.
I'm becoming very scared.
Please don't cry for me, Mom.
When I needed you,
you were always there.
I have one last question, Mom.
Before I say good bye.
I didn't drink and drive,
So why am I the one to die?

Child Abuse

Child abuse is very abundant here in the United States and in foreign countries.
Most children that are abused physically, mentally or sexually are scared to speak because the ones abusing the child may be the parent/parents or a family member ect.
To me It's ashame a child who is Gods angel has to go through so much torture by the ones who are suppose to love and protect that child from any type of harm.
I have a poem here that is not written by me but this poem is very touching to where I had tears falling ffrom my eyes...

"Daddy....... it hurts"

by Deanna Nicole Overweg on Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at 6:29pm
This is A TRUE STORY AND IF YOU DON'T PASS THIS ON YOU DON'T
HAVE A SOUL!!!

My name is Chris ,
I am three,
My eyes are swollen..
I cannot see.

I must be stupid,
I must be bad,
What else could have made,
My daddy so mad?

I wish I were better,
I wish I weren't ugly,
Then maybe my mommy,
Would still want to hug me.

I can't do a wrong,
I can't speak at all,
Or else I'm locked up,
All day long.

When I'm awake,
I'm all alone,
The house is dark,
My folks aren't home.

When my mommy does come home,
I'll try and be nice,
So maybe I'll just get,
One whipping tonight.

I just heard a car,
My daddy is back,
From Charlie's bar

I hear him curse,
My name is called ,
I press myself,
Against the wall.

I try to hide,
>From his evil eyes,
I'm so afraid now,
I'm starting to cry.

He finds me weeping,
Calls me ugly words,
He says its my fault,
He suffers at work.

He slaps and hits me,
And yells at me more,
I finally get free,
And run to the door.

He's already locked it,
And I start to bawl,
He takes me and throws me,
Against the hard wall.

I fall to the floor,
With my bones nearly broken,
And my daddy continues,
With more bad words spoken.

'I'm sorry!', I scream,
But it's now much to late,
His face has been twisted,
Into a unimaginable shape.

The hurt and the pain,
Again and again,
O please God, have mercy!
O please let it end!

And he finally stops,
And heads for the door,
While I lay there motionless,
Sprawled on the floor.

My name is Chris ,
I am three,
Tonight my daddy,
Murdered me.

And you can help,
Sickens me to the soul,
If you read this,
And don't pass it on.

I pray for your forgiveness,
You would have to be,
One heartless person,
Not to be affected,
By this Poem.

And because you ARE affected,
Do something about it!
So all I ask you to do,
Is pass this on!

IF YOU ARE AGAINST CHILD ABUSE!
Post this as 'Daddy ... It hurts'

If you do not send this to everyone you know
Then you obviously don't care about child abuse.

At first I thought this was just a chain letter
And I wasn't going to send it either,
But now I realize that this is an important situation.

At least 5 children each day from around the world die from child abuse!!!!

This happens across the board, no matter how much money they have or their ethnicity.
Please help.

God is Good

I thank God for guiding me through my trials and tribulations.

Sometimes certain tasks seems impossible to achieve but through prayer and faith the good Lord makes the impossible possible.......
